The Front Office Committee will have its next call on Tuesday September 30 at 11 am ET to review applicable updates and notices from the SEC, FINRA, FINRA CAT and the equity and option exchanges. The FIF Committee Co-Chairs will review the recent rule filing by Nasdaq for tokenized securities.

Tax Information Reporting Working Group

The next call for the Tax Information Reporting Working Group will be on Tuesday September 30 at 3 pm ET. Representatives from Wolters Kluwer will discuss inaugural 1099-DA reporting season concerns.

FIF Chicago Event

FIF is excited to announce our annual Chicago event, sponsored by Cboe Global Markets. After opening remarks from Kevin Carrai of Cboe Global Markets, there will be two panels, one focusing on options trading and market developments and the other panel focusing on market data and technology. For the options trading and market developments panel, the panelists will be: Gregg Berman of Citadel, Andy Bevers of Cboe Global Markets and Ellen Greene of IMC. For the market data and technology panel, the panelists will be: Tom Jordan of Jordan & Jordan, Raymond Tsui of SS&C and Jeff Wells of Cboe Global Markets. Additional panelists will be announced soon. The event will take place on Monday October 6th at Cboe's offices at 433 West Van Buren Street, Chicago, IL 60607. FIF Submits Letter to OFR on Repo Reporting

On September 12, FIF submitted a letter to the Treasury Department’s Office of Financial Research relating to the reporting of non-centrally cleared bilateral repos. FIF would like to thank the members of the OFR Repo Reporting Working Group for their contributions in the drafting of this letter.
