Treasury Clearing

On Tuesday September 3 at 3 pm ET, Ignacio Sandoval of the Orrick law firm will continue his review of the current status of the various rule filings by the Fixed Income Clearing Corporation (FICC) to implement the SEC mandates relating to centralized clearing of cash trades in Treasuries and Treasury repos. FIF has invited the members of the Back Office Committee, the Compliance and Surveillance Working Group, the Financial Risk Regulations Working Group and the TRACE / Fixed Income Working Group to participate on this call. Electronic Blue Sheets

In place of the regular CAIS Working Group call for this week, FIF has scheduled a joint call for the CAT CAIS and CAT Transaction Reporting Working Groups for Wednesday September 4 at 11 am ET. The agenda for the call will be to revise and finalize a planned FIF member survey on the volume of electronic blue sheet requests.

Stock Plans for Corporate Clients

An FIF member would like to discuss with other members managing stock plans for corporate clients, including whether they manage the activity at the omnibus level or the individual employee level. FIF CAT Monthly Update Working Group

The CAT Monthly Update Working Group call for September will be on Thursday September 5 at 2 pm ET. The Working Group will review guidance and updates from the CAT Plan Participants and FINRA CAT on CAT Transaction Reporting, CAT CAIS and CAT billing during the prior month. The Working Group will also review the current areas of focus for FIF members and the current open issues for CAT Transaction Reporting, CAT CAIS reporting and CAT billing.
