Fixed Income Platform Order Data

On May 7, 2025, FIF posted the FIF public website a best practices document that recommends a standardized industry process for fixed income platforms to communicate manually-input order data to participants. The objective of this initiative is to support the participants of these platforms in performing their internal compliance and surveillance functions. This document was prepared based on the input of the FIF Compliance and Surveillance and Fixed Income Regulations Working Groups. An FIF member has contacted fixed income platforms about this document. SLATE Working Group

The next call for the SLATE Working Group will be on Tuesday June 10 at 10 am ET. The Working Group will review a revised draft follow-up letter to the SEC and FINRA relating to the implementation of SLATE reporting. The Working Group will also continue to discuss how FIF members plan to proceed on the various open interpretive issues relating to SLATE reporting.
