Securities Lending Transparency (SLATE) Working Group

FIF has scheduled three calls for this week for the SLATE Working Group. The first call will be on Monday April 14 at 11 am ET; the second call will be on Wednesday April 16 at 11 am ET; and the third call will be on Thursday April 18 at 11 am ET. The Working Group will continue its discussion of a draft letter to the SEC and FINRA relating to the implementation of SLATE reporting.

Reg NMS

FIF has scheduled a call for the Equity Market Regulations Working Group for Monday April 14 at 2 pm ET. The Working Group will discuss the testing and implementation process for the upcoming changes to round lot sizes and dissemination of odd lot data.

Short Position Reporting

FIF has scheduled a call for the Short Sales / Reg SHO / Short Reporting Working Group for Tuesday April 15 at 10 am ET. The Working Group will discuss the current status on the implementation of short position reporting. The Working Group will also discuss whether FIF members want to respond to FINRA Regulatory Notice 25-04 (FINRA Launches Broad Review to Modernize Rules Regarding Member Firms and Associated Persons) by recommending changes to short interest reporting.

Back Office Committee; CME Treasury Cash and Repo Clearing Service

The Back Office Committee will have its next call on Tuesday April 15 at 11 am ET to review applicable FICC, DTC, NSCC, SEC, MSRB, OCC, IRS and FINRA updates during the past month. Representatives from the CME will discuss their new Treasury cash and repo clearing service.

Joint Rule 605 and Rule 606 Working Group Call

FIF has scheduled a joint call for the Rule 606 and Rule 606 Working Groups for Tuesday April 15 at 1 pm ET. FIF members will provide an update on a call with SEC representatives relating to Rule 606(a) and the implementation of FINRA Rule 6470.
