New 24/7 Trading Working Group

Earlier this month, FIF created a new Working Group (the CFTC 24/7 Working Group) to discuss the recent CFTC request for comment on 24/7 trading. FIF has now renamed this group as the 24/7 Trading Working Group. This Working Group will discuss implementation issues relating to extended-hours trading for securities and commodities. FIF has scheduled a call for this Working Group for Thursday May 22 at 2 pm ET. Reg NMS Amendments: Implementation of Round Lot Changes

FIF has scheduled a call for the Equity Market Regulations Working Group for Monday May 12 at 2 pm. The Working Group will review the recent updates to the CTA and UTP specifications for the implementation of the Reg NMS changes to round lot sizes.

Rule 606 Working Group

FIF has scheduled a call for the Rule 606 Working Group for Monday May 12 at 3 pm ET. The Working Group will discuss revised draft FAQs relating to Rule 606(a) reporting to submit to the SEC.

Direct Reporting of Muni Trades

FIF has created a subgroup to discuss direct reporting of muni trades. Peter Lisman of Broadridge is coordinating this subgroup and has scheduled a call for Tuesday May 13 at 1 pm ET. The subgroup will review a revised draft letter to the MSRB recommending that firms have the option to report trades directly to the MSRB RTRS as opposed to reporting trades through the RTTM trade-matching system operated by FICC. CAT CAIS Working Group

FIF has scheduled a call for the CAIS Working Group for Wednesday May 14 at 11 am ET. The Working Group will discuss CAIS issues for expunging inactive accounts.
