Digital Asset Securities Working Group

FIF has scheduled a call for the Digital Asset Securities Working Group for Tuesday August 12 at 1 pm ET. The Working Group will review and discuss an FIF presentation on the GENIUS Act, which provides for the registration and regulation of payment stablecoin issuers. Rule 605 and Rule 606 Working Groups

FIF has scheduled a joint call for the Rule 605 and Rule 606 Working Groups for Tuesday August 12 at 2 pm ET. The Working Groups will discuss the first draft of an FIF letter requesting an extension of the current implementation date for the Rule 605 amendments.

CAT PII and CAIS

FIF has scheduled a joint call for the CAIS and CAT Transaction Reporting Working Groups for Wednesday August 13 at 11 am ET. The Working Groups will discuss a revised draft FIF comment letter requesting (i) the retirement of the current large trader reporting requirements relating to unidentified large traders, and (ii) the removal of all historical rejections and Material Inconsistences relating to fields that will no longer be reportable to CAIS. The Working Groups will also discuss comments letters relating to the rule filing to remove PII from CAIS.
