On July 14, FIF submitted a comment letter to the SEC in response to the amended rule filing by CAT LLC to remove PII from CAIS. The FIF comment letter includes a discussion of the need to retire and replace EBS. FIF has scheduled a call for the OFR Repo Reporting Working Group for Monday July 21 at 11 am ET. The Working Group will discuss issues and questions from FIF members relating to implementation of the reporting of non-centrally cleared bilateral repos to the Treasury Department’s Office of Financial Research.
