The call will be on Tuesday October 24 at 3 pm ET and will focus on CAT billing, including reconciliation for on-exchange and off-exchange trades. This will be in addition to the regularly-scheduled CAIS call on Wednesday October 25 at 11 am ET and the regularly-scheduled CAT Transaction Reporting call on Wednesday October 25 at 2 pm ET.

The Data and Technology Committee will have its next call on Wednesday October 25 at 10 am ET to review capacity, latency and volume data for the prior month for the equity, options, currency, crypto and futures markets. In addition to the regular agenda, FIF will review the October 18 SEC rule proposal on Volume-Based Exchange Transaction Pricing for NMS Stocks.

FIF has scheduled a call for Thursday November 2 at 11 am ET to review the SEC’s recent adoption of a rule to require monthly reporting of short positions and short activity. FIF has invited members of the FIF Short Sales / Reg SHO / Short Interest Reporting Working Group to participate on this call. FIF is excited to announce our year-end event will take place on the evening of Tuesday December 5, and it will be sponsored by Société Générale. Those who were at the last Société Générale event back in 2017 know what a great venue this is, and FIF is excited to partner with Société Générale once again. We are planning on running two panels, with the first focusing on technology, including trading infrastructure in the cloud. The second panel will focus on operational challenges of new regulations in 2024 and beyond. Please save the date on your calendars as December can get busy before the holidays.
