FIF Submits Follow-up Letter to the Treasury Department’s Office of Financial Research on Reporting of Non-Centrally Cleared Bilateral Repos (NCCBRs)

On July 17 FIF submitted a follow-up letter to the Treasury Department’s Office of Financial Research requesting clarification on various issues and questions relating to the new requirement to report repos that are executed bilaterally and not centrally-cleared. FIF would like to thank the members of the OFR Repo Reporting Working Group for their contributions in the drafting of this letter.

OFR Repo Reporting Working Group

The next call for the OFR Repo Reporting Working Group will be on Monday July 22 at 11 am ET. The Working Group will discuss issues and questions from FIF members relating to the new requirement to report repos that are executed bilaterally and not centrally-cleared. The Working Group will also discuss cross-border scenarios.
